GHF Mobile Clinic Albergue Municipal (Temporary Homeless Shelter) ◆ Santa Catarina, Pinula Guatemala ◆ November 2015
More than 600 women, men, youth and small children lost their lives following a tragic mudslide in the community of Cambray II in Santa Catarina, Pinula, a community near Guatemala City. Global Healthworks Foundation sent a special mobile clinic team to the city’s Albergue Municipal (temporary homeless shelter) to treat hundreds of the affected families.

Our GHF Participants Hall of Fame!
Our volunteer team of alternative healthcare practitioners is comprised of: highly trained acupuncturists; Reiki masters; holistic health consultants; therapeutic massage therapists; yoga, Qigong, and Tai Chi instructors; physical and occupational therapists; and specialists in women’s health. Volunteers are selected to participate in our medical missions based on their skills in holistic health as well as their level of compassion, team-player mentality, and genuine concern for the wellbeing of others.
